Rainbow Hub SA Committee changes

The Rainbow Hub SA (RHSA) Committee was sorry to receive the recent resignation of Monty (Mona) Khizam. Monty joined us several years ago to manage the Silver Rainbow Training program when RHSA was part of COTA SA. She brought much enthusiasm and experience in community media production and working with multilingual multifaith communities. We wish Monty well with her other projects and look forward to continuing to collaborate.

We also welcome new Committee members Robyn Lierton and Desmond Ford. Robyn and Desmond will be familiar names to many through their respective roles at ECH and COTA SA in recent years. At ECH Robyn was both designer and creator of ECH LGBTI Connect and she successfully led the organisation to Rainbow Tick Accreditation on three occasions.

During his time at COTA SA Desmond managed the LGBTI People Ageing Well Project and worked very closely with the steering committee for the project, which evolved into the Rainbow Hub.
Robyn and Desmond are both passionate gardeners and also enjoy participating in their local parkrun events every Saturday morning! They each bring a great deal of experience, passion and wisdom to Rainbow Hub SA.
